EL-XP electric valve actuators are used for positioning control of quarter turn ball, butterfly and damper valves in environments where flammable gases may be present. They have a NEMA 4, 4X, 7 and 9 design with ISO 5211 mounting for direct mount. They are offered in several models that reflect the output torque and can be equipped with modulating and heating accessories.

They are explosion-proof rated according to US, EU and Chinese explosion proof standards and have visual and electrical valve position indication, manual override, double square drive and weatherproof enclosures. They operate on standard 4-20mA control input signals and use an internal microprocessor with closed loop feedback to continuously monitor and maintain accurate valve position even with power loss. All explosion-proof actuators are tested before shipment to ensure trouble-free operation.
