How to Make Whipped Soap

The soft, fluffy and creamy texture of Whipped Soap feels luxurious and indulgent on the skin. Often scented and with the flexibility to be customised with additives like exfoliants, whipped soap can provide a gentle and gentle cleanse without stripping the skin of natural oils.

Whipped Soaps are easy to make, super versatile and are perfect for transforming everyday hand washing into an at-home spa experience. They are typically more moisturising than traditional bar soap, and the whipped texture means that only a little goes a long way. They also come in a range of colours and scents, making it possible to create an array of personalised skincare routines for every mood.

Simply weigh out your fragrance oil (we recommend using 2 drops to achieve the pastel violet shade pictured), and add it into the whipped soap base. Then, use your mixer to whip the mixture until it is light and fluffy, achieving roughly double in volume. Once whipped, transfer it into your soap containers. The whipped soap does not require curing, meaning it is ready to use straight away, as a body wash, shower gel or shaving cream. To use, scoop out a small amount of soap into the palm, apply water to create a rich lather and then massage gently onto the skin. For shaving, leave on the skin for a minute or two prior to shaving and always use a fresh razor. To store, shake the jar upside down to remove any excess water and keep in a cool, dry place.
