Become an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Early Years Educator

If you’re looking for a qualification that will allow you to work in a childcare environment, this could be the course for you. This NCFE CACHE level 3 course will teach you about child development and how to meet a toddler’s physical and emotional needs. It also helps you to understand the factors that may affect children’s well-being in Early learning centres and how to keep them safe.

It’s a full level 3 qualification and is worth UCAS points. You can start it at any time of the year and work through it at your own pace. You can do this course from anywhere in the UK and you’ll get the benefit of a highly reputable provider with expert tutors to support you.

You’ll have the flexibility to study in your own home or at a training centre of your choice, and can choose to do the course on either a face-to-face or online basis. This means that you can complete the course in a way that suits your busy lifestyle.

The course takes you through a number of mandatory units, and will help you to understand the requirements that you must meet when working with young children in an Early learning centre. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete an Effective Practice Study Task and one Extended Assessment (externally set and externally marked). Dependant on learner ability and Centre delivery the Certificate can be completed in approximately 1 year and enables learners to progress on to the Diploma.

This NCFE level 3 qualification allows you to work with children and their families as an Early Years Educator in a range of settings. It enables you to develop your knowledge of child development and how to meet a child’s emotional, physical and social needs. This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to provide high quality care and education for children from birth to five years old.

NCFE is a leading awarding organisation in the care and education sector. This course is independently accredited at level 3 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This is the equivalent to a Foundation Degree and can open up opportunities for higher education and employment as an Early Years Educator.

You can complete this course through South London College (SLC) and will be supported throughout the course. SLC is a renowned provider and provides a comprehensive learning experience for all students. You’ll have access to expert tutors and resources that will support you in developing your knowledge of this exciting field.

You’ll be required to have a minimum of Grade C in maths and English GCSEs, or equivalent. You’ll also need to complete a placement in an early years setting in mainland England, where you’ll be matched with a workplace mentor. Cache level 3 and Early learning centres
